IGNORANCE WHEN IT DOESN'T.

UNREAL
eh.... i wonder why everyone likes to see the 'real' in everything. i know, no one wants to see false things, but there is a misconception among people about what 'real' is regarding other people. there are people who see the pure, the unadulterated, those not yet tainted as 'unreal'. if someone smiles at a problem coming his/her way, people tend to see it as 'escapist', when actually it is that person's way of dealing with life. if a person pretends to not notice anything bad around him, people are inclined to see him/her as apathetic, when in reality he/she silently observes, takes note, thinks of what to do. if tears are not shed when many an excruciating blow has been struck, the person is already labeled as 'manhid'(unfeeling). if someone does not give in to the pleasures of the mundane, he/she is labeled as a coward. this is a common phenomenon among people, the thought-compensation thinking. if someone displays a positive trait when people around simply give up(which is positive in itself), the people who give up think that the said person is actually faking it.
why can't we try to EVALUATE, instead of just taking a shortcut at everything and declaring that it's automatically unreal?

Am the Head of the Department of Poisons and Antidotes of the College of Substances, also doubling as the chief of the Apothecary for the Department of the National Defense. Ahem.
BUT SERIOUSLY
Am a 4th year University of the Philippines student, but currently am a non-major in the College of Mass Communication. I can write, but am really unsure of whether I write well. This is a somewhat faithful version of what I keep in my paper diaries. And yes, I DO write my diaries MANUALLY. I've already filled up thirty-three Papemelroti notebooks, and am on my thirty-four. I love to eat, and boy, my diet sure can pack the pounds on even Palito. I now am planning to reduce weight, but will execute after the hell weeks are over. :D Am planning to shift to either BS Economics or BS Statistics. Wish me luck! :D
