AM STILL DOING J102 RESEARCH
Imagine having to do some boring research about Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein of the Washington Post notoriety. The result: chatting with someone else, blog-hopping, mail checking, blog updating, anything virtual other than do research.
Am now seriously starting to doubt the program I entered early last year. Ma'am Simbulan really will squeeze the definite answer out of you to the question, "Do you really consider Journalism as your career someday?"
Am out. Will discipline myself further. Maybe until I can shift to... :D

FEEL SO (SOMEWHAT) TIRED
Have no funds as of the moment, so will make this terse:
Am still doubting whether to continue with the MCO application or not. Malaki kase akong pabigat sa mga batchmates ko e.
Am going back to choir practice. Not for the English worship service, though. Dinudugo ako sa English. Wehe.
Am still waiting for some material grace to fall from the sky right now. Am doubtful it will come from the sky, though.
Am investigating the history of the Indonesian press because Angel, Royce, and I will report it in J 100 a few weeks from now. Apparently this Soeharto guy is a major roadblock to Indonesian press freedom.
Am still waiting for the REAL Year of the Dog, to start on February.
Am changing the mail options of my Yahoo! E-groups from separate e-mails to just an e-mail per day.
Am starting to drink tea WITHOUT the sugar. Am removing the dependence on added sugar altogether.
Am starting, however, to have increased dependence on Pancit Canton as ssubsistence (and budget) food. Quick Chow Hot and Spicy still is hottest, but noodles sog, so prefer Payless.
Am starting to do a recap of what I have recorded the past year in my notebooks. Will have formulated the year-end special entry a week from now.
Am thoroughly enjoying the TK application process, though am still uncomfortable with some of the members. Am confident will get over with it in a week or so. My batchmates are fun. Lalo na ikaw Regina Tan! Yaoi kang talaga! :D

Ganito kase 'yun... Hindi kase ako masyadong nakakadaan sa tambayan ng TK nung mga unang linggo, kaya doubtful yung MemTrio (Si Zane-sempai, si Jayvee-sempai, at isa pang sempai na kailangan ko pang kilalanin.) kung mag-aaply pa ako o hindi. Hindi ako nakadaan masyado noon kase nag-aaply rin ako sa isa pang org. Ngayon nung (finally) dumaan na ako, tinanong ako ni Zane-sempai kung gusto ko pang magpatuloy. IF THIS WORLD BEHAVED LIKE KOREANOVELAS
I would rather choose to court someone from a rich family. There are only two options here: the parents like you or not, the latter being more probable. If they like you, you get absorbed into their rich family, and when her parents die, you inherit them. Wahahahahaha....
The second more probable possibility is that they don't like you. After all, aren't rich people paranoid when it comes to their wealthy wealth? *wink* They set up a rendez-vous with you at a fancy restaurant, then after some niceties, give you a cheque blanc. They tell you to write any amount you fancy just to leave their daughter (and consequently their wealthy wealth). You write seven-digit figures, and POOF! You become nouveau-riche Koko Krunch. *Wow, that's great, Koko!*
But that is just what I'd do IF this world DID behave as Koreanovelas do. Hehe...

SOME ORG-JOINING UPDATES
UP MCO: Have already made my sigsheet last night. Have lost precious sleep-hours last night. Slept at 2 in the morning. But was okay since have no classes today. Am still thinking of quitting the application process, nevertheless. I just don't tell them. I have promised myself not to join anymore orgs that have swimming pools in their application processes. Have already had the experience of a lifetime with UJP, and because of its application process have acquired hydrophobia. Brrr.
UP TOMO-KAI: Have also made my sigsheet last night. :D Wonderful how one can really do nice things if one only puts his heart into it. I made my best sigsheet so far.
Am happy. Zane-senpai already gave me a buddy. Tintin-senpai! Mga Yaoi fanatics tayo next week, ha? ^_^Am so happy!
Now to be a masochist and do some Kas 1 papers and an Econ 100.1 Exercise set... Bye for now! ^_^

It is only now that I ave realized (after some bit of thinking) that ohhmygoodness I MISS MY NETWORKING.
In my third and fourth year in that cursed high school I went to (oi, 'kala n'yo lang angas kapag nanggaling ka doon; kung alam n'yo lang ang kahihiyang pinagdadaanan ko du'n, no?), my computer science section was networking, sponsored by Cisco systems. (The others were Java programming in third year, and advanced programming in fourth year.) I missed those times I was working on the cables and servers and routers and PCs and what-have-yous. I missed those times when Ma'am Capundag and Ma'am Mendoza and Sir (kawalang)Pitagan were not looking, and I'd try to surf anipike.com and other (possibly scandalous) websites. Wahaha.
But seriously, I miss networking...

RESOLUTIONS 2006
This year I resolve to make my first attempt at coughing up a New Year's resolution. This will be my first time. This is painful, but please bear with it.
01. Will save more dough. There are two things on my mind right now that I'd very much like to purchase: a cellphone with a radio and Playstation 2. Now that I mentioned PS2, am also thinking of purchasing Final Fantasy 10, 10-2, and 12. ^_^
02. Will eat less. This is gonna be painful. Where ARE those support groups when you need them?
03. Will lose weight. This one is much easier than #2, but at is still painful to get that fat ass offa the bed and work out every morning.
04. Will wake up early. Am already getting late for J100 everytime. But then again, so does Ma'am Katigbak.
05. Will join more orgs. Haha.
06. Will become more active in UJP-UP. I guess the nuance that the first org you voluntarily joined is the one you love most is true. :D
07. Will have better grades. -_-u
Here for now. Okay, so I wager that only several of these resolutions will materialize, but am still happy if only one of these will.

Am the Head of the Department of Poisons and Antidotes of the College of Substances, also doubling as the chief of the Apothecary for the Department of the National Defense. Ahem.
BUT SERIOUSLY
Am a 4th year University of the Philippines student, but currently am a non-major in the College of Mass Communication. I can write, but am really unsure of whether I write well. This is a somewhat faithful version of what I keep in my paper diaries. And yes, I DO write my diaries MANUALLY. I've already filled up thirty-three Papemelroti notebooks, and am on my thirty-four. I love to eat, and boy, my diet sure can pack the pounds on even Palito. I now am planning to reduce weight, but will execute after the hell weeks are over. :D Am planning to shift to either BS Economics or BS Statistics. Wish me luck! :D
