Okay, so this is gonna be hard. Lord help me...
I am a non-major already. Yeah. As early as now, I see a hard life ahead of me. Now thank you. I do not regret anything that I've done, but like I've written a week ago, I am making some MAJOR changes in my schedule (and consequently my attitude and my life, if I am to stay in the university. So much for saving my own butt. I myself got fried in the process. Pah.

Daaaahling, there have been MAJOR changes in my plan. You see, it is inevitable that I work (hint: think graveyard) next semester (and probably next next), and that means if I am to be good at something (read: investigative) I probably won't make it with a schedule such as mine. If I get Sir Khan's Comm 120 next semester we can still meet at least once a week. Hope you understand. With such an awry state of finances like the one I am in right now one can easily think of suicide. But am not suicidal. I just have to find myself a job, but have to sacrifice some things in my life. Am really sorry. I might even take J 121 next semester if things get worse, you see. Please understand. T_T
By the way, I have this great idea for publicity materials for harvesting applicants next semester. Heehee. As a (future) member of IPComm, let me bare you my plans VERY early next semester. I think you'll love it. And so will the Union.

Maybe you are curious as to why this blog had a URL like that. It's so freaky, it's crap, and it takes too long to type. Maybe I'm really just ITCHING to tell you why that is the URL of my blog.
First, "Distilled." The word sounds cute, and since I had a frustration regarding matters of Chemistry, I think I'd well include that. Truth be told, I don't distill anything at all in this blog. I write whatever meager material I find in my brain at the time of sitting in front of the computer.
Second, "39." This had been but recently a favorite number of mine, along with 13 (the deviant side of me) and three (the least-known side of me.) So there. If you had an iota of observation, you would've noticed.
Third, and this is a crash course on dilution measurements. "Proof." Have you ever noticed that spirit bottle labels always have the word "proof" written on them, preceded by a number? Yeah, that's it. I think Ginebra San Miguel says "80 proof", Tanduay maybe even more so. The word 'proof' in Chemistry (and for those of you who are not yet inebriated after reading that label) is a measurement of the dissolution of a liquid in another liquid, that is, how much solute is in a given amount of solvent. 'Proof' means '1/2 percent per volume'. For those of you who do drink, that means for every one proof in a given shot glass, one-half percent of it is alcohol. Ginebra San Miguel's 80 proof, therefore, means 40% alcohol. Meaning for every liter of GSM you drink, 400 mL of it is alcohol, detoxified everytime by your poor liver. And when your liver is overtaxed... well, that's up to you.
Well, so much for explaining. Now you know how to measure the alcohol content of a drink. Now you know why the URL of this blog is like that.

Am a 4th year University of the Philippines student, but currently am a non-major in the College of Mass Communication. I can write, but am really unsure of whether I write well. This is a somewhat faithful version of what I keep in my paper diaries. And yes, I DO write my diaries MANUALLY. I've already filled up thirty-three Papemelroti notebooks, and am on my thirty-four. I love to eat, and boy, my diet sure can pack the pounds on even Palito. I now am planning to reduce weight, but will execute after the hell weeks are over. :D Am planning to shift to either BS Economics or BS Statistics. Wish me luck! :D
