IGNORANCE WHEN IT DOESN'T.

YOU. YEAH, YOU.
Do you know the feeling when (at least for me, sometimes) life deals you the ugliest hand of cards you've ever seen? You shuffle your feet, look for something that could possibly resemble a full house, or even just a three of a kind, when against all chance and luck and probability you get nothing but singles! And you rack your brain for the best that you can do with your situation, and silently pray that others have been dealt a hand uglier than yours. Ah, but what could be uglier than a hand full of singles? Life certainly is unfair. You've piled up a nice neat sum of chips, and you know that it's yours, and it will still accumulate as the game progresses, but a masterly stroke of the dealer's hand, and bang! You're dead meat!
And that just happened to me. The Tomo-Kai people gave up on me in the deliberations. They swept away with just one decision all that I worked so hard to accumulate. They made me lean on an esperanza falsa. And I'm certain it's because of my unpleasant character that they decided to strike me out from the application process. I know that I've done well in the activities, else I'd not have passed the informal interview. I know that my creed is in sync with theirs, else I'd not have passed the formal interview. But to strike me out when deliberation time came... only my character could have been the reason. I know I'm a very much unpleasant person to be with. I've studied my behavior in the past. But I don't know what the source of unpleasantries in me is. No one will ever tell me. People are too polite to tell me anything. I don't know what to change in me. And because of that I cannot change my character.
And now I can't go to the induction. Funny. Life deals you the ugliest hand of cards when you least expect it. Do you know the feeling?

No more lonely nights
Am the Head of the Department of Poisons and Antidotes of the College of Substances, also doubling as the chief of the Apothecary for the Department of the National Defense. Ahem.
BUT SERIOUSLY
Am a 4th year University of the Philippines student, but currently am a non-major in the College of Mass Communication. I can write, but am really unsure of whether I write well. This is a somewhat faithful version of what I keep in my paper diaries. And yes, I DO write my diaries MANUALLY. I've already filled up thirty-three Papemelroti notebooks, and am on my thirty-four. I love to eat, and boy, my diet sure can pack the pounds on even Palito. I now am planning to reduce weight, but will execute after the hell weeks are over. :D Am planning to shift to either BS Economics or BS Statistics. Wish me luck! :D
